Baby Shop POS

What it is

A complete shop management system: point of sale, inventory across every size and colour, purchasing, customer credit, expenses and profit reporting — with an audit trail behind every transaction.

Why it exists

A retail counter cannot stop working because the internet does. The software had to be correct and fast with no network at all.

The problem in the way

Off-the-shelf point of sale either assumes a cloud connection or treats stock as a single number per product, which is useless when the same item exists in six sizes and four colours.

How it was solved

Everything runs locally against a single embedded database file with real ACID transactions, packaged as a desktop application. Stock is tracked per variant, and the money arithmetic is auditable line by line.
